In a world obsessed with quantum supremacy, France seems to be practicing quantum empathy—an awareness that the field isn’t just about outpacing others, but about bringing everyone along. GENCI is connecting start-ups with government support, making infrastructure accessible to open research, and encouraging diverse regions in France to participate in the larger European vision.
It’s not just hardware that’s being built here. It’s trust. Community. A culture of intellectual generosity.
And maybe that’s the real breakthrough no one’s quantifying yet.
Because if the quantum era is going to be transformative, it won’t just be the tech that gets us there—it’ll be the people who dare to stay curious.
