Quantum Annealing Machine for Highly Efficient Combinatorial Optimization Processing

Quantum annealing has attracted a lot of attention in recent years as a technology for improving the efficiency of combinatorial optimization processing.

The participants in this project are carrying out vertically integrated research and development that encompasses hardware, interfaces, software and applications to develop (1) a large-scale, high-performance superconducting quantum annealing machine and (2) a common software platform that enables integrated handling of various annealing machines. In doing so, this project aims to achieve social implementation of quantum annealing machine technology.
